They announce the coming of games to be put on by the local magistrates. There will be a beast hunt, and twenty pairs of gladiators belonging to Marcus Tullius will fight at Pompeii from November 4 to November 7. Twenty pairs of gladiators belonging to Decimus Lucretius Satrius Valens perpetual flamen of Nero Caesar son of Augustus and ten pairs of gladiators belonging to the son of Decimus Lucretius Valens will fight at Pompeii on April 8,9,10, 11 and 12, there will be a beast hunt and there will be awnings. Aemilius Celer wrote this on his own by moonlight. Twenty pairs of gladiators and their substitutes belonging to the quinquennalis Gnaeus Alleius Nigridius Maius will fight free of charge at Pompeii. Greetings to Gavellius Tigillus and Clodius from Telephus, chief gladiator trainer and the guy you need to have good games. Good luck to Diadumenus and Pyladio. At the dedication of the picture commemorating the games of Alleius Nigridius Maius there will be a parade, beast hunt, athletes, distributions, and awnings.
