Legio II AVG
LEG II AVG is constantly striving for historical accuracy and a complete show for all the family. Run by David and Lyndsey Richardson, two of the most appraochable reenactors I know.

Roman Military Research Society

Amongst other things they "represent a detachment of the Fourteenth Legion, Gemina Martia Victrix", a great society with fantastic equipment including their artillery.

Roma Antiqua and Ludus Claudia ~ NEW

Collegium Gladiatorium
In their own words they are "Roman Cultural Traditional Fighting Club and the Ludus Magnus School of Ancient Martial Arts" They have some well put together videos and lots of members.

Ars Dimicandi

Legio XX
Legio XX is run by Matthew Amt, second to Leg II AVG Matthew has been one of the most helpful reenactors that I have come to know. Based in the US they site a high standard for groups to aim for. I can thoroughly recommend Legio XX's Legionaries' handbook.

Familia Gladiatoria
Familia are, as far as I know the oldest gladiatorial reenactment group in the world - starting in 1986.

Vortigern Studies is an initiative based in the Netherlands, dedicated to the study of the period between the Roman occupation of Britain and the Early Middle Ages.
