Event Hire. Ludus Gladiatorius is available for event bookings. We are frequently involved in filming fight sequences for documentary, stage fighting, private functions, reenactment combat and displays at historical locations throughout Europe. Below are a series of frequently asked questions about booking our society and what we can offer. After reading the answers below if you still have questions or would like to talk through your event and what we can offer then please contact us and we will do all we can to help. What can you offer? The best way to get a true image of what we can offer is to take a look around the website and see for yourself. We pride ourselves upon the authenticity of our equipment, gladiatorial types, the running of the show and fighting technique. As the fighting is rehearsed for your actual event you can have something specifically tailored to your needs. Most documentary combat filming involves little more than a shield scrum meaning that films have to be blurred, matted or short two second clips to hide the unskilled combat of the soldiers. Whereas, we are able to fight on camera for minutes at a time, repeating the sequence over and over to allow editors as much identical footage, from differing angles, as they may need to create the scene the director is after. Used as principle fighters in a mass sequence the scene can be given the illusion of a large scale skilled combat. As well as this we can offer a trained fight coordinator of over twenty years practical experience. We are available for and have been used in the past at Historic locations, documentary film work, private hire events, school talks and theatrical combat training. All of our fighters are personally insured and covered by the group insurance. Are you available on ...? The surest way to test our availability is to take a look here. Unfortunately costs vary depending upon the event and the notice given, please contact us with as much notice as possible and we will do all we can to help make the costs affordable to you and your event. |
